Enventive Engineering exceeds 2008 annual revenues in first half of 2009

Lancaster, Mass., August 13, 2009 -- Despite economic difficulties throughout the world, Enventive Engineering, Inc., experienced accelerated revenue growth of over 50% in 2008, and is continuing to grow rapidly in 2009. In fact, 2009 revenues surpassed 2008 total revenues by the end of second quarter.

The growth in revenue is due to an expanding user base for its software product, Enventive. Addressing this growth during a time of economic slowdown, Enventive Engineering’s President and Founder, Ralph Gifford, stated, “Our customers recognize that now, more than ever, they need to increase the effectiveness of their engineering effort. The best way to control costs and limit development time is to design it right the first time. Enventive gives them the tool they need to achieve that goal.”

The upward growth is expected to continue for the rest of 2009 and beyond. Gifford comments, “The need for Enventive will continue to increase as engineering groups compete in the global economy. Those that fail to improve quality and reduce costs will not survive. Enventive has a proven record of saving time and money while producing unequaled results in design optimization.”

About Enventive Design Optimization Software

Enventive is an entirely new paradigm in mechanical engineering design:  tolerance analysis-based design optimization. Unlike traditional tolerance analysis tools, Enventive is a multi-variant system optimization tool that begins with concept design and includes the effects of forces, material properties, operating conditions, manufacturing variations, and other factors.

By combining geometric, mathematic, and kinematic modeling with automated variation analysis, optimization capabilities, and GD&T simulation, Enventive enables engineers to simultaneously optimize critical parameter values and their tolerance limits, giving them greater insight into their products.

Enventive helps engineers to understand how real world variances affect design before detailed design occurs, resulting in significant savings in time, effort and money.
