About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support our North America sales team, with a focus on the Midwest region. This role is remote but based in the Detroit area, and requires up to 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Present the value of Enventive’s software solutions through technical presentations, live or virtual software demonstrations, and tailored use-case discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide consultative technical guidance to propose appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver compelling demo models and proof-of-concept examples.
- Log and track customer inquiries, feedback, and technical support issues through resolution using CRM and support platforms.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular touchpoints, usage reviews, and updates on new features or solutions.
- Communicate customer feedback and feature requests to the product and engineering teams.
- Stay informed about mechanical tolerance analysis trends, CAD/CAE tools, and competitor solutions to strengthen customer conversations.
- Represent Enventive at industry events, webinars, and trade shows as needed.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 3 or more years of experience in a mechanical product design,
- Familiarity with mechanical tolerance analysis, 2D/3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX), or related engineering software is a strong plus.
- Comfortable delivering technical presentations and explaining complex engineering concepts to non-experts.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, especially in technical customer interactions.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support customer demos, training, and events (primarily in the Midwest U.S.).
